Sony's Xperia X10 to launch on AT&T tomorrow (Updated)

'Smarter is coming' in the form of an old OS on good hardware.

Update: Right on time, Sony press release pasted below

As reported last week, it looks like Sony's Xperia X10 Smartphone is launching tomorrow on AT&T.  Sony has put up a countdown page which should put the launch at Monday at Noon.  Not only is that device below a spitting image of the back of a X10, but the source code of the page is littered with 'X10' references (see screenshot below the fold).

Something interesting to note: Schematic, a US advertising agency owned by WPP (WPP), is the developer of the Sony (SNE) X10's "User Experience Platform" (UXP) which is said to be pretty interesting.  Engadget did a full review of it here.

I still can't believe they are going to launch this with Android 1.6.  AT&T (T), as per usual with Android devices, hasn't and probably won't say a single word. More
