Update: Verizon has made the Droid 2 official with the press release pasted below.

Android Power blogger JR Raphael posts Verizon's multimedia files for the Droid 2. That's Verizon's (VZ) unannounced original Droid replacement (pictured at right). And this is the least of Verizon's leak concerns.

Earlier today, The Boy Genius report laid out a whole swath of Verizon Android plans which cover International phones, tablets, Samsungs, Motorola (MOT), HTC, LTE, Mifi and just about everything else you are after in Android land.

Here's a breakdown:

  • Novemeber 2010: The Motorola Droid Pro international phone gets launched with 4" screen and 1.3GHz processor.
  • HTC and Samsung are also set to launch Android Worldphones
  • Motorola is working with Verizon on a "slab form-factor" device that sort of looks like an old Motorola Q but features a full touchscreen and global roaming.  Sounds a little bit like the Charm?
  • Tablets are coming from Samsung and Motorola.  Samsung's 7" tablet will be first (Maybe announced on Wednesday?) Motorola's 10" with front and back cameras will require Android 3.0 which might push it into next year.
  • Verizon plans to have 75% of the country covered in LTE coverage by April 2012.  There will be a Novatel LTE MiFi device available in January or February that will apparently support up to 10 simultaneous Wi-Fi users. LTE data pricing will stick at $59.99/month, though it's unclear what the data allowance will be. (This is for data cards, not smartphones)

Notably missing from Verizon's 2010-2011 plans?  iPhone. More
