Deliveries have started to arrive in Germany. Mine left Alaska last night.
Customers who got up early -- or stayed up late -- to pre-order Apple's (AAPL) new iPhone have started to reap their rewards.
Although deliveries were not due until end-of-day Friday, Oct. 14 -- the day of the official launch -- MacRumors reports that several customers in Germany have already received theirs.
Mine left Anchorage, Alaska, Monday at 11:11 p.m. local time, and unless it gets stuck in some UPS holding facility, it could very possibly to show up in Brooklyn a couple days early.
Let the unboxing videos begin!
Two days after Verizon (VZ) began taking pre-orders for the Apple (AAPL) iPhone, at least one unit had made its way to a customer.
This one was picked up Saturday morning at a UPS holding center in Evansville, Ind., an event now immortalized on YouTube.
Below: The funkiest unboxing video we've ever seen. Who says people aren't excited about the iPhone coming to Verizon?
