Comic relief: Apple discovers a cure for adultery

In a parody of a medical news report datelined Cupertino, humorist (and, we suspect, iPad owner) Andy Borowitz pokes fun at owners of Apple's (AAPL) hot-selling tablet computer.

"A new scientific study released today," he writes, "says that iPad owners are less likely to commit adultery 'because they stop noticing other people altogether.'

"The study also indicated that iPad owners are far less likely to have sex with the people they are married to, but that in two-iPad couples 'neither partner seems to care.' "
