Google code slip reveals new Docs features

Third-party Applications, Cloud Printers and Sync Services appear to be en route for Google Docs.

The unofficial Google Operating System Blog revealed today that Google may soon be offering some new features to its Docs service. The code was uncovered in a Docs webpage and seems to indicate three new features that have long been talked about as upgrades:

  • iPad printing: 5 months, still missing

    Owners of iPads, iPhones and iPod touches will have to wait until November.

    One of the features conspicuously missing in the iPad when it launched in April was a way to print documents. Five months later, early adopters are still waiting for Apple (AAPL) to deliver this most basic function.

    So it didn't help much Wednesday when Apple issued a press release announcing the release of a beta version of AirPrint -- MORE

  • Samsung Galaxy Tab prints direct

    iPad won't have this feature until November.

    A little-mentioned feature of the Samsung Galaxy Tab:
