If the iPhone 5 is a hit, Apple could be poised for "extraordinary growth," says ChangeWave
Despite the continued dominance of Android in the marketplace, there are several nuggets of good news for Apple (AAPL) in the results of a ChangeWave survey of mostly (86%) American early adopter types released Monday.
The iPhone continues to get the highest satisfaction marks (70% "very satisfied") compared with Google's (GOOG) Android (50%), Microsoft's (MSFT) Windows MORE

In a February ChangeWave survey, 70% were "very satisfied" and 25% "somewhat satisfied"
There were few surprises in the survey of 3,091 ChangeWave members polled just before the iPad 2 announcement.
Interest in buying a tablet among ChangeWave's early adopter types was up, to 27% from 25% in November.
Interest in buying an iPad was high -- with 82% preferring Apple's (AAPL) tablet to Motorola's (MOT) Xoom (4%), Research in Motion's (RIMM) MORE
Among enterprises planning to purchase tablets next quarter, 78% intend to buy iPads
There's not much good news for Apple's (AAPL) competitors in the results of a ChangeWave survey released Wednesday.
In November, ChangeWave researchers asked 1,641 corporate IT buyers about their current and future tablet purchase policies. Although only 7% of the respondents currently provide employees with tablets -- up from 1% in an August survey -- 14% plan to do MORE

A ChangeWave survey finds Apple's iPad gaining fast on Amazon's Kindle

Demand is strong, with 5% of respondents saying they are Very Likely to buy an e-Reader and 10% Somewhat Likely over the next 90 days.

In a new survey, 34% of non-AT&T customers say they would have preferred an iPhone
In results that show what ChangeWave research director Paul Carton calls "the continuing threat the iPhone poses to the rest of the industry," one in three owners of non-AT&T (T) smartphones said in a new survey that they would bought Apple's (AAPL) phone if it had been available through their carrier.

Sure, it's shiny, sleek and cool -- the latest must-have accessory. But here's why I'm sticking with Apple's real perfect product.
By Leigh Gallagher, Assistant Managing Editor
For weeks it sat as an unchecked box on my to-do list: "buy iPad." I wanted in. I was eager to see what all the hype was about. Working in magazines for 15-plus years, I needed to see and experience this new device that promised MORE

Apple's "magical" device the first choice of 80% of respondents who plan to buy a tablet
The iPad, which scored a 91% satisfaction rating in ChangeWave's May survey, inched up another four points in results released Tuesday.
In this survey of 3,108 early adopter types, more of whom presumably own Apple's (AAPL) tablet computer than did six months ago, the "very satisfieds" were down 3 points to 71% and the "somewhat satisfieds" MORE

Trouble ahead for AT&T if Apple does make an iPhone for Verizon

ChangeWave poll finds 93% satisfied with their new iPhone, down from 99% last year.
Given the intense attention paid to the iPhone 4's antenna in the weeks after its release, the issue played a surprising small role in a survey of 213 new owners begun three days after Steve Jobs offered them a free case.
Although one in five said it was "somewhat" or a "very big" problem, 64% of the respondents MORE
