With only hours to go before the truth is known, Apple watchers are placing their bets
I can't recall an Apple (AAPL) event surrounded by as many unanswered questions as the "Let's talk iPhone" press conference scheduled to begin today at 10 a.m. Pacific (1 p.m. Eastern).
Technologizer's Harry McCracken has done us all a favor by posting a roundup of the most blogged-about rumors -- 11 in all -- with links to one of the sites spreading the rumor and, where possible, a site that dismisses it as ridiculous. (Our favorite headline: Cult of Mac's BGR is Crazypants, says iPhone 5 is exclusive to Sprint).
Then, in a timely experiment in crowd-sourcing, McCracken has invited readers to vote on the rumors they find most credible. You can add your votes here.
As of 5 a.m. Pacific, the crowd in its wisdom seems to agree that BGR is crazypants.
Visit Technologizer after the event for McCracken's summary of the results.
