FORTUNE -- On Saturday, BuzzFeed Politics published a collection of 12 AP pool photos from the day of rest Mitt Romney spent at his beach house on the shores of New Hampshire's Lake Winnipesaukee.

In two of the photos, the Republican candidate for President is wearing bicycle gear. In four, he's riding an oversized speedboat.

In the rest he's either glued to his Apple (AAPL) iPad, or reading his iPad while wired to an iPhone, seemingly oblivious to the buzz of human activity around him.

We've been there.
