Facebook's new "Timelines"-focused profile rolls out September 29.

* Facebook unveiled a flurry of new features at yesterday's f8 conference in San Francisco, including "Timelines," a radical re-imagining of the user profile that organizes your activity into a timeline-like format. The new profile (see above) starts rolling out September 29, but if you just can't wait, here's a slightly complicated way to enable it now.
