With the Tab arriving on five different carriers this month, the choices may seem a bit daunting.
Engadget put together a guide for picking the right plan on the right carrier - which will be a much bigger cost than the $599 Tab itself over the typical two year usage cycle.
While they are all a fairly similar, some things stick out. If you are a low bandwidth user, Verizon's $20/month for MORE

Data from over a thousand Mobclix users last month shows some interesting demographics on Android users.
Probably the most interesting stat in the Mobclix survey is that a minority of Android owners prefer a touch screen to a physical keyboard. That means there is still significant money to be made with slider phones and new devices like the Droid Pro, which have BlackBerry-like keyboards. Perhaps that is an overlooked reason behind MORE

Source: Retrevo
Americans plan to spend 16% more on high-tech gadgetry in the 2010 holiday season than they did in 2009, according to a survey of more than 1,000 U.S. consumers conducted for Retrevo, an online shopping and review site.

Devices running Android and iOS can now edit spreadsheets and documents on the go, in real time.
Google (GOOG) announced today that mobile device users would be able to edit their Google Docs in real time. The technology is built on the new documents editor that was introduced in April.

The cult favorite sandwich, hovering on the border between yum and yuck, won't mean much to McDonald's bottom line. But it's moving the needle on the company's brand awareness, especially in social media.

With the death of Jerry York in March and the forced departure of Google (GOOG) CEO Eric Schmidt in August 2009, Apple (AAPL) found itself with a couple empty seats in its board room.

The product of Google's acquisition of Like.com comes alive as a social fashion shopping site.
Boutiques.com is an interesting play for Google and, from the website, you'll notice that it is unlike anything Google (GOOG) has done before. There isn't any advertising and the imagery is big and beautiful. This is all about shopping.
You'll notice that there isn't any Google branding on the site. The shop site was fast-tracked to market and was MORE

Flooded with angry comments after disparaging the "geezer skew" of digital downloads
Source: Apple Inc.
Forrester's Mark Mulligan thought he was making a point about the state of the music business, not the quality of The Beatles' music, when he posted a brief item Tuesday congratulating Steve Jobs for finally getting the Fab Four on Apple's (AAPL) music store:
"The fact that securing the content of a band old enough to be MORE

It was often said during Apple's (AAPL) protracted negotiations with Apple Corps. and EMI to put The Beatles' catalog on iTunes, that anybody who cared about the music had already ripped the CDs.
