    At its "Back to Mac" event, Apple unveiled two lighter, thinner MacBook Air models with flash memory replacing standard hard drives and OSX Lion, which includes interface tweaks borrowed from iOS. (Fortune Tech)

  • Windows Phone 7 devices have arrived. The consensus? Pretty innovative interface, but lacking in key features like copy-paste, third-party app multitasking, and general app selection.
  • Ebay's income rose 23% to $431.9 million compared with the same time last year due in no small part to its growing PayPal business; revenue stayed flat at $2.2 billion. (Canadian Business)

  • Electronic Arts bought Angry Birds-maker Chillingo for $20 million. The popular mobile game has been downloaded more than 20 million times. (telecoms)
  • Start saving! Verizon's 7-inch Android-powered Galaxy tablet arrives in Verizon stores November 11, priced at $599. (Fortune Tech)
