  • Redbox is rolling out video game rentals to "thousands" of its 24,000 kiosks around the U.S. (MCV)
  • Intel posted a quarterly net profit of nearly $3 billion and a record revenue of $11.1 billion (AFP)
  • Amazon will start offering shorter-format, inexpensive ebooks called "Kindle Singles." (TFTS)
  • Nokia's market share has reportedly plunged almost 18% in India in six months. (The Economic Times)
  • Facebook added a one-time password feature that will text passwords to users concerned about working on computers in say, hotels, cafes and airports. (eweek)
  • Former Google CIO Douglas Merrill launched  ZestCash, an installment loan startup that loans users up to $500 and allows them to pay them back in small amounts over time. (TechCrunch)
  • Social gaming company PlayFirst raised $9.2 million during its latest round of funding. (PocketGamer)
  • Digg CEO Matt Williams apologized on the social media's blog for disappointing users and dropping features with its recent redesign (Erictric)
