Sony's Xperia X10 to launch on AT&T tomorrow (Updated)

'Smarter is coming' in the form of an old OS on good hardware.

As reported last week, it looks like Sony's Xperia X10 Smartphone is launching tomorrow on AT&T.  Sony has put up a countdown page which should put the launch at Monday at Noon.  Not only is that device below a spitting image of the back of a X10, but the source code of the page is littered with 'X10' references (see screenshot below the fold).

Something interesting to note: Schematic, a US advertising agency owned by WPP (WPP), is the developer of the Sony (SNE) X10's "User Experience Platform" (UXP) which is said to be pretty interesting.  Engadget did a full review of it here.

I still can't believe they are going to launch this with Android 1.6.  AT&T (T), as per usual with Android devices, hasn't and probably won't say a single word.
