Apple hits a new all-time high

Surpasses its old intraday record of $272.46 set last April, closes at a record $271.87

Apple (AAPL) briefly hit $272.90 in mid-morning trading before falling back. It closed at a record $271.87, up $4.62 (1.73%) for the day.
