Apple has already posted its "Top Charts" for a tablet computer that hasn't been released

Nobody knows yet what applications the people who buy iPads will want to load on their new machines -- for that we'll have to wait until Saturday, when the device goes on sale.

But we can already see what apps are being downloaded by the folks that Amit Agarwal has dubbed Steve Jobs' "inner circle" -- the privileged friends, celebrities and high-profile reviewers who were given early access to the device.

That's because Apple (AAPL) has posted iPad versions of the App Store's three most closely watched lists: Top Charts for Paid Apps, Free Apps and Top Grossing apps.

So far, perhaps unsurprisingly, Apple's own apps top all three lists, as you can see from the snapshots we've posted below the fold.
